About Me and My Game

Creative Developer & Problem Solver

I enjoy creating imaginary worlds and scenarios. In particular, I am fascinated with the idea of giving players and characters ultimate freedom and seeing what they do with it.

My idea for my game started in middle school where I had the idea to make a game where you can do anything. I lacked the knowledge and talent to make that idea real, however.

Moving on to High School, I took some computer science classes and joined/started the Video Game Development club, where I expanded my knowledgebase and discovered my engine of choice for my game. The Quest text adventure maker. AT that time, I messed around with it a little. Believing, naively, that I was working on the final version of the game.

What I Learned Then

Upon moving to Florida, I renewed my interest in developing the game, and put true effort into making it based on the principles I learned in my time in High School. Drafting the overall story and plot of the game on the week-long drive between the states. From there, I began workshopping the key mechanics of the game that would allow me to make the game as I wanted to, as well as put together how I was planning to promote and distribute the game when it was finished. Since then, development has been slow, as various life events have gotten in the way of my motivation and ability to work on it.
